SHAH ALAM, April 24 — The state government plans to develop an analytics dashboard system through the Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS) to monitor issues related to land and housing, says state executive councillor for housing and urban wellbeing Rodziah Ismail.
She said this will be done in collaboration with the National Property Information Center (Napic), National Housing Department and Real Estate & Housing Developers' Association (Rehda), by sharing data on residential houses, shop houses and small office, home office (Soho).
According to her, the system will make it easier for property development planning which is needed due to the high migration rate of people from other states to Selangor.

"The side effect of Selangor becoming a place for people to earn a living is that there will be an insufficient supply of houses for rent, thus it is very likely that some parties will take advantage by developing houses on people's land," she said.
She said this after chairing the Housing and Urban Wellbeing Standing Committee (StanCo) meeting at the Shah Alam Convention Centre here yesterday.
The Batu Tiga assemblyman added that three systems covering real estate application registration, online medicine and employment, that was implemented under the digitalisation programme have been fully completed last year.
Rodziah added that two more digital projects, namely the Standard Accounting System for Government Agencies (Saga) and the monitoring of state government assistance projects are expected to be completed this year.
