SHAH ALAM, March 17 — Selangor tops the list of individuals who have registered for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme with a total of 1,668,544 as of yesterday.
According to data shared by Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah on Twitter today, 5,742,572 Malaysians have registered for the Covid-19 vaccine.

Johor comes in second with 732,516 registered individuals, followed by Kuala Lumpur (516,956), Sarawak (451,918), Penang (410,841) and Perak (395,944).
In Kedah, a total of 288,837 individuals have registered for the vaccination, followed by Sabah (254,823), Negeri Sembilan (233,024), Pahang (219,796) and Kelantan (151,580).
For other states, Melaka recorded 189,129 individuals, Terengganu (142,145), Putrajaya (40,559), Perlis (35,456) and Labuan (19,504).
Meanwhile, Selangor remains with the highest number of vaccine recipients recorded in the first phase of the immunisation plan with 41,913 out of the total 346,508 individuals vaccinated nationwide, as of yesterday.
The daily report on the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine by state saw Perak with 39,404 people vaccinated, while Sabah at 33,966.
As for other states, Sarawak recorded 32,465 people, Kuala Lumpur (31,740), Johor (26,185), Pahang (25,933) and Kedah (23,871).
Penang recorded 20,393 individuals to have been vaccinated, while Kelantan (16,541), Terengganu (15,725), Negeri Sembilan (14,489), Melaka (9,120), Perlis (8,038), Putrajaya (4,383) and Labuan (2,342).
