SHAH ALAM, Feb 9 — The Selangor State Health Department has moved the location of the Covid-19 Assessment Centre (CAC) in the Petaling district to the Stadium Malawati in Section 13, here, beginning yesterday.

OIn its Facebook page, the health department had also updated the contact number for the CACs for the Petaling and Sabak Bernam districts.

“If a Covid-19 patient is undergoing treatment at home and is experiencing symptoms, contact the CAC and the Home Assessment Team will assist you.

“If your condition worsens, call 999 or head to the nearest hospital,” it stated.

The Petaling CAC can be reached via WhatsApp at 011-6405 5718 or call 011-5881 4350/011-5881 4280.

As for Sabak Bernam, the following is the updated contact number in the district:

Aside from stadiums and community halls, 19 CACs have been set up throughout Selangor that are based at public and rural clinics.

The CAC was established in January to determine a patient’s health level and identify those who are suitable to stay at home using the Home Assessment Tool (HAT).

Patients will be referred to the Covid-19 Quarantine and Low-Risk Treatment Centre (PKRC) or hospital if categorised as level one and two but are not suited to be placed at home.
