SHAH ALAM, Feb 1 — The Universiti Selangor (Unisel) Virtual School programme has seen the participation of almost 10,000 students nationwide since January.

Its Dean for Student Development and Community Engagement Amidi Abdul Manan said the online classes are targetted for candidates of the Sijil Peperiksaan Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) examinations for the 2020 session.

“The initiative offers free classes and seminars to prepare the students for the examinations.

“The students are exposed to answering techniques and supporting classes for particular topics,” he told SelangorKini.

Amidi said the programme applies the three elements of self-development for the younger generation including talent, character building and education.

He said talent building begins with personality test and career trend while character building focuses on educating on good value.

“As for education, we focus on the students as well as educators in line with the current Covid-19 development, which pushes for education to move forward,” he said.

Students interested to take part in the classes can scan the QR code on the poster or register via uvs.unisel.edu.my.
