SHAH ALAM, Oct 12 — A burst water pipe at Persiaran Jubli Perak, in Section 24 here is causing six areas in Klang and Shah Alam to experience unscheduled water supply disruptions starting tonight, said Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor).
The agency said the disruption caused by a third party affects users in Sections 18, 19, 20, 23, 24 and 25 in Shah Alam.
"The water supply will start to close at 9pm on October 12 (today) to carry out repair work on the broken water pipe and work is expected to be fully completed at 9am tomorrow," said Air Selangor in a statement.
Air Selangor said the water supply in the affected areas is expected to be fully recovered by 3pm tomorrow.
