SHAH ALAM, Oct 7 — A total of 355 individuals who have recently visited Sabah went for the free targeted Covid-19 screening initiative by the Selangor government at selected clinics in the state.
Selangor Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari said after three days of screening that began on Sunday, one case was confirmed for Covid-19.
“Subsequently, the Selangor Health Department will proceed with the treatment and close contact tracing,” said Amirudin in his Twitter yesterday.
The targeted Covid-19 screening is for individuals who have returned to Selangor from Sabah between 20 to 26 September.
The screening can be done by setting an appointment at the 16 Selcare Clinic branches, a company under the state-owned Selgate Healthcare Sdn Bhd, from October 4 to 11.
Proof of permanent residence in Selangor such as MyKad, utility bills, as well as valid travel documents from Sabah should be presented.
