SHAH ALAM, Aug 3 — The public is advised to report to the local authorities on those who do not comply with the standard operating procedures (SOPs) outlined during the recovery movement control order (RMCO) period.
State executive councillor Ng Sze Han said local authorities and relevant agencies are continuously monitoring public areas to ensure compliance of the SOPs.
“The Federal government would enforce the MCO once again if the daily Covid-19 cases continue to climb. Therefore, I urge the people to follow the rules and report to the authorities of those who flout it,” he told SelangorKini.
When asked on compliance in using the SELangkah contact tracing system, Ng had advised the public to always use the system when entering any premises as it would be able to help the government to track and trace down those who may have been infected by the virus.
“Use SELangkah and make sure you give the verified information such as name and phone number as this would help the government identify those who may have come into contact with the infection,” he said.
