SHAH ALAM, June 26 — The pump price for RON95 and RON97 will increase by 10 from RM1.59 per litre to RM1.69 per litre, and from RM1.89 per litre to RM1.99 per litre respectively starting tomorrow, the Finance Ministry announced today.
The ministry said according to the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM), the retail price of diesel rises by 9 sen to RM1.86 per litre from RM1.77 per litre.
“This increase is due to changes in refined product prices, in line with current crude oil prices.
“The government will continue to monitor the impact of global crude oil price change and take appropriate measures to ensure the welfare and well-being of the people,” the ministry said in a statement today.
The fuel prices are effective until July 3.
