SHAH ALAM, June 9 — A total RM18.5 million in funds has been disbursed to the civil servants in Selangor as a show of appreciation for their efforts in battling against the Covid-19 outbreak, says Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari.
“The cash aid includes the staff under the state local authorities, statutory bodies as well as subsidiary companies,” said the Selangor Menteri Besar on his social media accounts today.
On May 15, Amirudin had announced the one-off special financial assistance of RM1,000 to civil servants grade 56 and below, including frontliners, which will be paid beginning June 9.
However, state executive council members and state assemblymen are not included as the recipients.
