SHAH ALAM, April 20 — A total of 1,835 individuals had participated in the Selangor Covid-19 community screening operation, says Selangor Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari.
The second phase of the free testing, which was held over the weekend, had involved residents in Klang, Puchong Prima and Shah Alam.
"The community screening was carried out on Saturday and Sunday with a total of 1,835 people involved.
"The door-to-door and drive-thru screening operation was monitored by the Selangor State Health department officers and in accordance with the standard operating procedure (SOP) set by the Health Ministry (MOH).
“Focus is given towards those who considered high-risk and senior citizens," Amirudin said on his official Twitter account today.
The free Covid-19 drive-thru screening initiative held over the weekend at Dewan Raja Muda Musa in Section 7, here, would be extended in other hotspots in the state, following the overwhelming response from the public.
Since April 11, the state administration had conducted big-scale Covid-19 testing operations in several identified red zones across Selangor.
