UN Security Council backs Lebanon peacekeepers after Israeli attacks

UNITED NATIONS, Oct 15 — The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on Monday expressed strong concern after several of its peacekeeping positions in southern Lebanon came under fire amid clashes between the Israeli military and Iran-backed Hezbollah militants.

Malaysia to wait for UN decision on sending peacekeepers to Palestine

PORT DICKSON, Oct 26 — Malaysia will wait for the United Nation’s (UN) decision on whether to send peacekeepers to Palestine, said Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
