KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 24 — The government has implemented six steps to manage the impact of climate change in the agrofood sector, especially on padi cultivation, said Agriculture and Food Industries Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee.

PUTRAJAYA, Nov 14 — Efforts must be made to create groundwater storage systems to ensure there is continuous supply of water in order for the padi and rice industry to remain efficient and productive, should there be a water crisis in the future, which could threaten food security in the country.

PUTRAJAYA, July 3 — Planting padi in areas under enhanced movement control order (EMCO) is allowed to avoid a shortage in the rice production of the country.
