TOKYO, Oct 6 — A court in military-ruled Myanmar has jailed a Japanese documentary filmmaker for 10 years for violating sedition and communications laws, a Japanese foreign ministry official said on Thursday.

Naypyidaw, SEPT 3 — Myanmar's deposed former leader Aung San Suu Kyi was found guilty of electoral fraud on Friday (September 2) and sentenced to three years in jail with hard labour, according to a source familiar with the proceedings.
