KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 — The flood situation in several states worsened, as the number of evacuees at relief centres rose to 48,989 this morning.
SHAH ALAM, March 5 — Bantuan Kita Selangor Penyayang (Our Compassionate Selangor Aid) mission has sent a variety of basic necessities such as food, drinks, hygiene kits, clothes and disposable diapers to Johor flood victims yesterday.
KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 — The amount of rainfall recorded at the Air Panas station in Segamat, Johor for the period beginning February 28 until March 3 was 731 millimetres (mm) - the highest compared with the highest monthly rainfall records in December 1991 and December 2006.
KUALA LUMPUR, March 3 — The number of flood evacuees in four states continued to increase this evening, with 31,375 people currently housed in 241 temporary relief centres, compared with 29,091 reported yesterday afternoon.

KOTA KINABALU, Feb 14 — Some 35 people from 10 families were evacuated in Penampang, while seven areas have been rendered impassable due to floods this morning, following continuous heavy rain since last night.
JOHOR BAHRU, Feb 10 — The flood situation in Johor has fully recovered, with the temporary relief centre at Balai Raya Kampung Seberang Batu Badak, Segamat, closing at 1pm today.
KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 9 — A total of 273 flood victims are still at eight relief centres (PPS) in three flood-affected states as of 8am today.
