Export revenue expected to reach up to RM15 billion by end of 2025

JAKARTA, July 11 — Indonesia plans to use funds from its palm oil export levy to finance development of the country's cocoa and coconut sectors, said its trade minister.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 11 — The Plantation and Commodities Ministry (KPK) aims to expand the country’s total cocoa farming area to 10,000 hectares in five years from 5,985 hectares currently, said Deputy Minister Datuk Chan Foong Hin.

KUCHING Dec 7 — A total of RM9.5 million allocation will be channelled as agricultural input assistance involving 3,295 cocoa farmers in the country starting from January next year through the Budget 2024, Malaysian Cocoa Board (LKM) director-general Datuk Dr Ramle Kasin said.

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 27 — The Plantation and Commodities Ministry (KPK) via the Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB) will continue to strive to increase the income of rubber smallholders by implementing various incentives.

KUCHING, Sept 30 — The value of Malaysia’s cocoa exports reached RM4.36 billion from January to July this year, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 15 — Agri-commodities and agri-commodities product exports jumped 65 per cent to RM105 billion in the second quarter of 2021 from RM64 billion in the same period last year,  Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities (MPIC) Datuk Dr Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali said.
