CANBERRA, July 10 — The Australian government said on Sunday that eligibility for "potentially lifesaving" Covid-19 antiviral treatments will be widened from Monday.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 5 — Malaysia is expected to receive its first shipment of the Covid-19 oral antiviral treatment, Paxlovid by Pfizer, in two weeks, said Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin.

REUTERS, Oct 23 — The US Food and Drug Administration on Thursday approved Gilead Sciences Inc's antiviral drug remdesivir for treating patients hospitalized with Covid-19, making it the first and only drug approved for the disease in the United States.

PUTRAJAYA, March 25 — The Health Ministry is considering the use of antiviral drug ‘Favipiravir’ to treat Covid-19 positive patients, said its director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
