BANGKOK, March 31 — Several high-rise buildings in Bangkok were evacuated today after what appeared to be aftershocks, three days after a deadly 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck neighbouring Myanmar, the German News Agency (dpa) reported.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 29 — Myanmar was hit by a 5.1-magnitude aftershock today, a day after powerful earthquakes devastated several neighbouring nations, leaving over a thousand dead.

TAIPEI, April 23 — More than 80 earthquakes, the strongest at 6.3 magnitude, struck Taiwan's east coast starting Monday night and into the early hours of Tuesday and some caused shaking of buildings in the capital Taipei, the island's weather administration said.
