KUALA LUMPUR, March 16 — Small farmers deserve to be treated fairly and must be exempted from the European Union Deforestation-free Regulation’s (EUDR) unrealistic demands, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 8 — A new European Union law preventing the import of commodities linked to deforestation risks sidelining small farmers who are unable to meet the burdensome cost of compliance, the head of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) said on Tuesday.

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 15 — The Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (KPK) and the Malaysian Rubber Board (LGM) will work with relevant ministries and agencies in creating a more strategic policy to safeguard the welfare of rubber tappers and smallholders.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 2 — Smallholders may claim for the rubber production incentive (IPG) based on their November 2020 production, between December 1 and 31, said the Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB).
