SHAH ALAM, Oct 14 — The Selangor Kerajaan Prihatin Housing Assistance Programme continues to help those in need secure more comfortable and safer homes.
State executive councillor for human resources and poverty eradication Papparaidu Veraman said the initiative reflects the state government’s commitment to keeping the people’s welfare a priority.
Visits to recipients’ homes are intended to assess their living conditions and ensure the assistance provided benefits the target community.
“I hope this assistance will ease the burden on recipients and their families, while giving them the opportunity to enjoy a more comfortable and safer home,” he said in a Facebook post.
Earlier, Papparaidu visited the home of programme recipient Parwathi P. Mariappan along Jalan Bukit Kemuning in Batu 8, Kampung Jawa, Klang.
He added that the state government will remain committed to implementing various targeted initiatives to improve the people’s well-being and quality of life.
