KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 14 — His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, attended the 273rd Conference of Rulers meeting at Istana Negara today, chaired by the Sultan of Perak Sultan Nazrin Shah.
Present were the Raja of Perlis Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail; the Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj; the Sultan of Kedah Al-Aminul Karim Sultan Sallehuddin Sultan Badlishah; and the Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.
The Regent of Terengganu Tengku Muhammad Ismail; the Crown Prince of Kelantan Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra; and the Tunku Temenggong of Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Sultan Ibrahim, also attended.
The meeting was also attended by the four Governors: Tun Mohd Ali Rustam of Melaka, Tun Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar of Sarawak, Tun Musa Aman of Sabah, and Tun Ramli Ngah Talib of Penang.
The rulers were accompanied by their respective Menteri Besar and Chief Ministers. The Deputy Premier of Sarawak was also present.
The previous Conference of Rulers meeting was held on February 11 and February 12, chaired by the Sultan of Terengganu Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin.
