SHAH ALAM, Sept 29 — The Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) is offering 861 lots across 17 locations for its 2027 Ramadan bazaars, with online applications open from October 1 to 10.
MPAJ said in a statement that the lots are available under the Temporary Ramadan Bazaar Licence (LSBR) and Elite Temporary Ramadan Bazaar Licence (LSBRE).
“Each applicant may apply for only one lot at one location, while only LSBRE traders are allowed to leave their business tents at the site.
“Applicants must also submit proof of active Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) contributions when applying,” it said.
According to the statement, payments can be made from October 26 to November 1, 2026.
“For sales at locations other than the Ramadan bazaar sites designated by MPAJ, traders must apply for a Temporary Ramadan Bazaar Permit (PSBR).
“The selected location must be suitable and must not cause any obstruction or disturbance, particularly to traffic flow and other activities,” it said.
MPAJ said its Licensing and Entrepreneur Development Department will first assess the suitability of the proposed location before approving the PSBR.
