KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 29 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said his recent visit to China provided an avenue for Malaysia to explore and expand strategic cooperation based on the increasingly close diplomatic relations between the two countries.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter) today, he said he is confident Malaysia-China friendship will continue to open new opportunities in various fields while bringing tangible benefits to the people of both countries.
The post also featured a two-minute-and-57-second video highlighting the Prime Minister’s working visit to the country, set to the popular Mandarin-language song Tian Xia sung by Jason Zhang.
Anwar made the three-day working visit to Shanghai and Hangzhou beginning on Tuesday (September 22) at the invitation of his counterpart Li Qiang.
The visit focused on two main agendas: attending the WorldSkills Shanghai competition in Shanghai and the Global Digital Trade Expo in Hangzhou.
