SHAH ALAM, Sept 29 — Selangor and Pahang are set to strengthen strategic cooperation in the agri-food and food security sectors, including exploring several proposed high-value agricultural projects.
The Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS) said the matter was discussed when its management team had an audience with the Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah yesterday.
It said the audience was held to convey the mandate of Menteri Besar Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari to expand cooperation between the two states.
“The cooperation discussed covers the agri-food and food security sectors, including several proposed high-value agricultural projects,” PKPS said in a Facebook post.
It hopes the cooperation can continue to strengthen and provide lasting benefits to the people of Selangor and Pahang.
