SEMENYIH, Sept 27 — Yayasan Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporation), or MBI, today presented RM12,500 in supplementary aid to 29 victims of a storm that hit Kampung Batu 3 here on July 18.
Yayasan MBI head Ahmad Azri Zainal Nor said the aid was channelled to all recipients in different amounts according to the level of damage to their homes.
“Among the worst damage was from a tree that fell and crushed the kitchen of a house,” he added.
He explained that the contribution is the last such handout for the 29 victims and is a mark of Yayasan MBI and the state government’s concern for residents facing difficulties.
“This aid is also a reminder to victims that there are still parties that always care for and help them in the face of misfortune,” he said.
