SHAH ALAM, Sept 25 — A female worker died after she was believed to have become trapped in a lifting machine at a premises in Teluk Panglima Garang, Kuala Langat, yesterday.
Kuala Langat district police chief Superintendent Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi said police received a report on the incident at about 11 am.
“The victim was taken to a nearby health clinic at about 11.20 am after suffering head injuries.
“However, a medical officer pronounced her dead while she was receiving treatment,” he said, as reported by Berita Harian.
Mohd Akmalrizal said preliminary checks were also carried out following the incident.
The checks found no criminal element involved.
The victim’s body was subsequently sent to the Forensic Department at Hospital Banting for further action.
