SHAH ALAM, Sept 24 — Yayasan Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporation), or MBI, wants to expand its partnership with the Gombak District Dental Office by sponsoring healthcare and dental programmes.
Yayasan MBI head Ahmad Azri Zainal Nor said the partnership won’t just comprise asset contributions, but could be expanded in terms of programme sponsorship from the foundation, while the dental office provides dentists and expertise.
“We have discussed with the dental office, thinking about possible partnerships we can have,” he told Media Selangor.
He added that the approach is suited to villages including Orang Asli settlements and communities that need better access to dental services.
Previously, Yayasan MBI made an inaugural donation of two portable dental chairs worth RM6,400 to the Gombak District Dental Office, after receiving a request for the equipment from the office.
Azri said the portable chairs will be used for dental programmes in Gombak, and expressed hope that the proposed partnership would lead to more programmes for the benefit of more residents.
