SHAH ALAM, Sept 7 — Several areas around Shah Alam were affected by power disruption earlier today, Tenaga Nasional Berhad’s (TNB) said.
TNB CareLine in its Facebook posting said the technical team is carrying out repair works to restore power supply.
“Several areas around Shah Alam, Selangor, are currently experiencing a power supply disruption.
“Our technical team is currently at the location carrying out repair works to restore the power supply.
“We greatly appreciate your patience and sincerely regret any inconvenience caused,” it said.
However, TNB did not reveal the number of areas affected or specific locations experiencing the disruption.
Checks with TNB CareLine found that it had received hundreds of complaints regarding the electricity disruption in Shah Alam earlier today.
TNB also reminded affected customers to be careful when handling electrical appliances during a power outage.
“Exercise caution when handling electrical appliances, especially during a power outage, as electricity supply may be restored at any time,” it said.
