LONDON, Sept 4 — Cathay Pacific said on Friday it had cancelled all passenger flights to Dubai and Riyadh until December 1 due to the “latest developments” in West Asia.
“In view of the latest developments in West Asia, Cathay Pacific’s Dubai and Riyadh passenger flights have been cancelled up to and including November 30, 2026,” the Hong Kong flag carrier said in a statement.
Affected travellers will be offered the flexibility to rebook, reroute or obtain refunds for their tickets, it said.
“Cathay will continue to closely monitor the evolving situation in West Asia,” the airline added.
The cancellations come amid renewed Iran-US fighting after a US strike on Iran’s Larak Island earlier this week ended a month-long lull in hostilities.
