KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 28 — The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds for three states and the Federal Territory of Labuan until 4pm today.
The warning covers Pontian, Kulai, Johor Bahru and Kota Tinggi in Johor.
A similar warning has also been issued for Sabah, covering the interior (Kuala Penyu, Beaufort, Membakut, Keningau, Tambunan, and Tenom) and the west coast (Papar, Penampang, Putatan, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran, and Kota Belud).
Meanwhile, in Sarawak, the affected areas are Bintulu (Bintulu and Sebauh), Miri (Miri, Subis, Beluru, and Marudi), and Mukah (Mukah, Dalat, and Matu).
