Police launch manhunt for two Dengkil PUSPEN escapees

PUTRAJAYA, Aug 27 — The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has confirmed that two inmates of the Narcotics Addiction Rehabilitation Centre (PUSPEN) in Dengkil, Selangor escaped from the centre today.

Sepang district deputy police chief Supt Mior Mohd Nor Azuan Alias ​​said they received a report regarding two men who escaped at 8.40am.

“The police are conducting a manhunt to track down the two men.

“The public is advised not to panic and not to speculate or spread unconfirmed information regarding the incident,” he said in a statement today.

Members of the public with information on the whereabouts of the two individuals are advised to share it with the nearest police station or contact the Sepang district police headquarters at 03-87774222.

Earlier, a security alert and announcement went viral regarding the incident of two PUSPEN Dengkil residents who escaped from the centre, believed to be using a stolen vehicle.
