SEPANG, Aug 27 — An unidentified corpse has been found inside the wheel well of an aircraft at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 here this morning.
An engineer discovered the body at about 6.55am while opening the wheel well of the aircraft that had arrived from Tokyo, Japan, at 6.30am.
Bernama understands the staffer noticed a foul smell before opening the compartment and discovering the remains, and alerted KLIA Terminal 2 police.
A Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) forensics unit dispatched to the scene established the victim is believed to be in their 20s and had been dead for more than 72 hours.
Police have not released details about the case. Efforts to obtain updates are ongoing.
