SHAH ALAM, Aug 23 — Shah Alam’s diverse tourist attractions were highlighted to 40 members of a World Islamic Tourism Expo (WITEX) delegation yesterday, said the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA).
It said the delegation comprised tourism industry players, strategic partners, and media representatives, and that the tour aimed to provide the delegation with first-hand experience of Shah Alam’s uniqueness and tourism products.
Among locations covered were Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque, Shah Alam Gallery, Taman Anggerik Shah Alam, Taman Warisan Shah Alam, and Antan Batura Watersport.
“The tour gave the delegation an opportunity to experience the diversity of Shah Alam’s tourism assets, encompassing arts, culture, history, heritage, landscape, and recreation.
“This programme was also a strategic platform to introduce Shah Alam as a destination with various attractions and potential to continue being highlighted in the tourism sector,” MBSA said in a Facebook statement.
