SHAH ALAM, Aug 21 — Twenty-four tourism products in Selangor have been recognised this year under the 2025 Tourism Selangor Iconic Product Awards, reinforcing the quality and innovation of the state’s tourism industry.

Tourism Selangor chief executive officer Chua Yee Ling said all 24 products were assessed based on several criteria, including uniqueness and product identity, visitor experience, cleanliness standards, management efficiency, and service quality.

The recognised products represent some of the best offerings in their respective categories and will be prioritised under various Tourism Selangor promotional initiatives.

“The recognition is not merely an accolade for the operators, but also marks the beginning of closer collaboration between Tourism Selangor and industry players to strengthen the competitiveness of the state’s tourism products.

“This includes listings in official marketing campaigns, familiarisation trips, media visits, digital promotions and participation in tourism marketing activities at both domestic and international levels,” she said during the presentation ceremony for the 2025 Tourism Selangor Iconic Product Awards at the MBSA Convention Centre today.
