YESTERDAY, the Malaysian Games (SUKMA) Selangor 2026 launched with a grand opening ceremony officiated by Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari, marking the start of the country’s largest sporting event.
The ceremony was filled with excitement, with contingents from across the country and Brunei taking part in various sporting events.
Beyond that, SUKMA Selangor 2026 is not just a platform for young athletes to showcase their abilities, but also a platform to foster sportsmanship, unity and camaraderie between competitors.
As host, Selangor has thoroughly prepared for the Games, including competition venues, athlete facilities, and support for contingents throughout SUKMA.
The opening ceremony was also made merrier with the presence of thousands of supporters. Their cheers and enthusiasm added to the lively atmosphere at Dataran Kemerdekaan in Shah Alam last night.
