KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 7 — Former chief justice Tun Mohamed Eusoff Chin has died at the age of 91.
His passing was confirmed by former Malaysian Bar president Mohamad Ezri Abdul Wahab in a text message to Bernama.
Mohamad Ezri said a message posted by the late Mohamed Eusoff's daughter, Zuliana, stated that her father died at 1 am today.
Funeral prayers will be held at Masjid Al-Hidayah in Kelana Jaya before he is laid to rest at the Section 9 Muslim Cemetery in Kota Damansara.
Mohamed Eusoff served as Malaysia's second chief justice from September 1994 until December 2000.
