SHAH ALAM, Aug 3 — The Klang Royal City Council (MBDK) has invited small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to apply for trader lots during the Malaysian Games (SUKMA) Selangor 2026.

It said applications are open until August 12 on its licensing portal.

The council added that food trucks and tents are eligible to apply, for locations including Padang Sultan Suleiman (rugby, August 20 to 23), Pandamaran Hockey Stadium (August 15 to 23), and Dewan Bukit Raja (ping pong, August 18 to 23).

MBDK said traders will be selected on a first come, first served basis as lots are limited.

“Don’t miss the chance to grow your business by participating in the SUKMA Selangor 2026 Seller Lots, that will gather thousands of athletes, officials, supporters and visitors.

“Let’s together support SUKMA Selangor 2026 while empowering the local trader economy,” read its statement.

SUKMA Selangor 2026 will be held from August 15 to 24 with 469 events in 37 sports, while Para SUKMA will be held from September 5 to 14 with 316 events in 10 sports.

The SUKMA opening ceremony will be held at Dataran Kemerdekaan Shah Alam.
