SHAH ALAM, July 20 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar today spent some time at the Malaysian Games (SUKMA) and Para SUKMA 2026 booth during a meet-and-greet with civil servants today.
According to the SUKMA Secretariat, both leaders were informed of the latest preparations for the tournament.
“Accompanying (their) visit was Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari and Selangor State Secretary Datuk Dr Ahmad Fadzli Ahmad Tajuddin,” it said in a Facebook post.
The SUKMA booth was erected at Dewan Sultan Idris Shah in Universiti Islam Selangor (UIS), where the meet-and-greet was held.
According to the secretariat, its participation in the session reflects its commitment to cementing strategic partnerships with government agencies and boosting anticipation for SUKMA and Para SUKMA Selangor 2026.
SUKMA will be held from August 15 to 24, while Para SUKMA will be held from September 5 to 14.
