KUALA LUMPUR, July 17 — Malaysians in Qatar have been advised not to be complacent, to always prioritise safety, and to remain alert to developments around them amid the still-uncertain situation in the Gulf region.
The Embassy of Malaysia in Doha said that, for now, its operations are continuing as usual and that it is updating information on the whereabouts of Malaysians in Qatar.
“Therefore, please update your and your family’s information through the eKonsular system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia.
"If you have yet to register, please visit the eKonsular website: https://ekonsular.kln.gov.my/register,” according to a notice posted on the Embassy’s official Facebook page today.
Malaysians transiting through Qatar are also encouraged to use the Foreign Ministry’s MyWorldAlert app to enable immediate assistance in the event of an emergency.
