KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 — The police are seeking the public’s assistance to locate a 14-year-old boy who has been reported missing from Taman Permata, Hulu Kelang.
Ampang Jaya police chief ACP Khairul Anuar Khalid said the teenager, N. Barath, was last seen at 7pm on Sunday (July 5) when he took his mother’s pet dog out for a walk.
“At 8pm, after realising that the boy had not returned home, his mother started to look for him. She later found the dog tied to a tree by the roadside near their house, but the boy was nowhere to be found,” he said in a statement today.
Khairul added that the boy is 155 centimetres tall, weighs 62kg, has a dark complexion and black hair, and was last seen wearing black jeans and a blue T-shirt.
He urged those with information on the boy to contact Sgt Mohd Saiful Shahfuzi Mohd Radzi at 019-3202055.
In a separate statement, Khairul said the police are also seeking the public’s help in locating Qaseh Atika Mohd Naim, 17, who was reported missing in Ukay Perdana, Ampang, on the same day.
The victim’s mother lodged a report after realising the teenager was not at home at about 8pm and that the school authorities had informed her that her daughter had also not attended school yesterday.
He said Qaseh is about 157cm tall, weighs 45kg, has a slim build, and has a medium brown complexion.
