SHAH ALAM, July 4 — The Ampang Jaya Municipal Council (MPAJ) will discontinue its WhatsApp complaints channel on August 1 as it moves to centralise public complaints.
The council said it seeks to establish a more efficient, organised and secure complaints management system while supporting its digitalisation initiatives.
“All complaints will be channelled through the official system to ensure they are properly registered and assigned reference numbers, enabling more systematic monitoring and follow-up,” it said in a Facebook post today.
The council said centralising complaints would also reduce the risk of complaints being overlooked, improve reporting and statistics collation, and strengthen data security and integrity.
To submit complaints, visit the MPAJ complaints portal, email hotline@mpaj.gov.my or call the hotline at 03-4296 8100, the toll-free line at 1800 228 100, or the PANTAS line at 03-4285 7333.
Complaints may also be lodged in person on Level 7 of Menara MPAJ between 8am and 5pm.
“Your cooperation and support are highly appreciated in helping MPAJ provide more efficient, transparent and quality service,” the local authority said.
