SHAH ALAM, July 4 — Police are tracking down a man suspected of sexually assaulting two 15-year-old boys in separate incidents here.
Shah Alam police chief Sarudin Samah said reports were received yesterday from the two students, who are enrolled in a college in Glenmarie, alleging they had been assaulted by someone believed to be an employee of the institution.
“The first victim alleged that he was molested in the restroom of the college dormitory, while the second victim claimed he was sodomised at the suspect’s house in Section 18, Shah Alam.
“The suspect has been identified and is believed to be a local man in his 30s. Checks revealed a prior criminal record involving sexual offences against children. Efforts to locate and arrest the suspect are actively underway,” he said in a statement today.
Sarudin said the first case is being investigated under Section 14 of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, while the second is being investigated under Section 377C of the Penal Code.
