SHAH ALAM, June 30 — Yayasan Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporation) or MBI has contributed RM20,000 to the Selangor branch of the Malaysian Principals Council (MPSM) to support the organisation's future programmes.
Its chief Ahmad Azri Zainal Nor said the foundation is also providing a monthly allowance to principals involved in the Selangor People's Tuition Programme (PTRS) as a gesture of appreciation for their commitment to strengthening education in the state.
Beginning this month, each principal participating in PTRS will receive a monthly allowance of RM100.
“Starting this month, principals involved in PTRS will receive RM100 per month in recognition of their commitment to implementing the programme,” he said in his speech during the MPSM 2026 Fellowship Dinner at Geno Hotel yesterday, which was also on Yayasan MBI's Facebook page.
Azri hopes the contribution will serve as an encouragement for principals to continue leading their educational institutions with dedication.
He added that principals play a vital role in ensuring the success of various educational initiatives, including PTRS, which benefits students.
Azri noted that Yayasan MBI remains committed to strengthening education to nurture an outstanding and competitive generation in Selangor.
