Kelantan police chief Datuk Mohd Yusoff Mamat confirmed that one suspect will be charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code, BH Online reported.

Meanwhile, another suspect who was previously remanded has been released on police bail.

In the incident on May 1, the body of the 19-year-old female was found in Kampung Padang Simah, Ketereh, with 61 stab wounds across the body.

Mohd Yusoff was previously reported as saying the victim was found without any identification documents before her identity was confirmed through fingerprint checks conducted by the National Registration Department (JPN).
