SHAH ALAM, April 5 — Police yesterday arrested a 24-year-old local man suspected of sexually harassing people at the Kajang MRT station exit.
“The suspect was arrested at his home in Taman West Country, Bandar Baru Bangi, yesterday. He will be brought to the Kajang Magistrate’s Court for a remand application for further investigation under Section 509 of the Penal Code.
“Anyone with information on this case is urged to contact investigating officer Sergeant Nor Atiqah Anuar at 013-7948922,” Kajang police chief Naazron Abdul Yusof said in a statement.
Previously, the media reported that police were looking for a man suspected of sexually harassing people near Kajang MRT station — an issue that had gone viral on social media.
