Thunderstorms, heavy rain in three states until 4pm

KUALA LUMPUR, March 30 — Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are forecast to hit several areas in Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, and Sarawak until 4pm today.

The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) said that in Selangor, the area expected to be affected is Hulu Langat.

In a 1pm warning, it said that for Negeri Sembilan, the warning involves the districts of Jelebu, Seremban, Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah and Rembau.

Meanwhile, in Sarawak, the areas affected include Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, and Daro in Mukah.
