SHAH ALAM, March 27 — The Klang Royal City Council (MBDK) will launch a discount on parking and traffic compounds to ease residents’ financial burdens, especially those with outstanding summonses.
MBDK said the discount would be valid from April 1 to 30, with rates as low as RM15.
In a statement, the council said the initiative aims to boost compound collections and give the public chances to settle their fines at lower rates.
“The public is urged to grab this opportunity before the campaign period ends to avoid further action including being charged in court,” read the statement.
Checks and payment can be made on MBDK’s website, its SmartParking MBDK app, Smart Selangor Parking app, and the Housing and Local Government Ministry (KPKT) website.
Payments can also be made at i-Kiosks in the following locations:
