KUALA LUMPUR, March 20 — Federal officers serving in Selangor can expect to receive the Insentif Khas Kita Selangor Aidilfitri (IKSA) through their April salaries.
The Selangor State Secretary’s Office said the allocation for the incentive payment was channelled to the relevant ministries on Monday (March 16).
Disbursement will be handled by each ministry’s Finance and Accounts Division and is subject to processing by the respective ministries, departments, and agencies, in accordance with the eligibility criteria.
“Officers may refer directly to their respective Finance and Accounts Division for further information,” it said in a Facebook post today.
Previously, on February 27, Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari announced that Selangor civil servants would receive the IKSA in the form of one month’s salary or a minimum of RM1,000 on March 19.
To strengthen the Federal-state partnership, he said the Selangor administration has also agreed to extend a RM300 incentive to 50,000 Federal officers serving in the state.
This includes policemen, Army personnel, firefighters, teachers, and nurses earning RM3,000 and below with permanent employment.
In total, the IKSA initiative involves a financial outlay of RM66.25 million.
