Selangor Ramadan Tour: Amirudin, Fadhlina explain new education blueprint

GOMBAK, March 3 — Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari and Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek today attended the Selangor Ramadan Tour at SMK Sungai Pusu here.

The event kicked off with a briefing by Education Ministry (MOE) director-general Datuk Mohd Azam Ahmad on the National Education Blueprint 2026-2035 (RPN) to teachers, students, and the local community.

Fadhlina and Amirudin then explained details of the national plan and emphasised the importance of cooperation from all quarters in strengthening the national education system.

Both leaders then broke their fasts with participants before performing congregational Maghrib prayers.

The Ramadan Tour, organised by MOE, was aimed at fostering closer ties between the ministry and the community through spiritual, welfare and education events.

Among those present at the programme were MOE senior management, ministry officers, school staff, Parent-Teacher Association members, Selangor State Education Department (JPN) and District Education Office (PPD) representatives, and local residents.

On January 20, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim launched the RPN, which aims to reform the national education system, MOE, and the Higher Education Ministry (MOHE) to build more values-based, competitive future generations.
