SHAH ALAM, Sept 25 — Selangor Fruit Valley (SFV) has recorded its highest-ever turnout with 2,396 visitors on September 15, following the additional public holiday for Malaysia Day.

In a Facebook post, SFV thanked the public for their support and said that the milestone reflects its growing appeal as a family-oriented agro-tourism destination.

“Congratulations, Selangor Fruit Valley! Thank you for making SFV your choice for agro-tourism. This achievement shows SFV continues to be a top destination for families and tourists,” the post read.

Developed by the Selangor Agricultural Development Corporation (PKPS), SFV blends tropical agriculture, nature and culture, aligning with Visit Selangor 2025 and Visit Malaysia 2026 campaigns.

The park is recognised by the Malaysia Book of Records as both the country’s largest tropical fruit farm and largest agro-tourism centre.

Menteri Besar Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari had previously stated that the recognition signifies SFV’s agricultural output and its careful maintenance and diverse activities.

Spanning across an area of over 1,000 hectares, he said SFV symbolises Selangor’s success in integrated agriculture while strengthening food security for the state and the country.

Other agro-tourism products, such as Ladang Farm Fresh and HL Dragon Fruit Farm, have also seen strong visitor numbers under the Visit Selangor 2025 campaign.

Tourism Selangor chief executive officer Chua Yee Ling had also said that agro-tourism remains popular as it combines leisure with hands-on agricultural experiences, making it a top choice for families.
