SHAH ALAM, March 4 — The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) held the Ramadan Bazaar Walkabout event yesterday in USJ 4 to support local traders at the market.
MBSJ said the programme was meant to bring the local authority closer to the community and survey how the bazaar is running.
During the event, MBSJ distributed coupons worth RM5 to the first 200 visitors and digital coupons worth RM10 on the Platform Selangor (PLATS) system by Menteri Besar Selangor (Incorporated), or MBI, to the first 300 visitors to support cashless transactions.
Also present at the event were state executive councillor for youth, sports and entrepreneurship Mohd Najwan Halimi, Subang Jaya assemblyman Michelle Ng Mei Sze, and Subang Jaya Deputy Mayor Mohd Zulkurnain Che Ali.
“Let’s make MBSJ’s 2026 Ramadan bazaars livelier and support local traders,” MBSJ said in a Facebook statement.
